An intimate performance

Marie Piselli, a French artist from Paris who has been visiting Merida and the Yucatan Peninsula the past year, wraps up her stay with a performance Tuesday April 24 at La Cúpula Cultural Center.
Following the performance from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m., Piselli will respond to questions in English.
Admission to the performance is free.

“Marie Piselli has a vital need to inject art into all that surrounds her. She overflows with an extraordinary creative energy, which leads her to print her artist DNA on multiple media.
“In the Yucatan, as an artist-in-residency in 2017, she discovered a vibrant tropical flora under the burning sun. A vegetal world she immediately adopted as a coloring book. For Mérida, Marie undertook the task of repainting it, innovating mixing materials, working with the best craftsmen.”
