The Special Club “Ayelem” will offer a Tribute to Disney, in which they will recreate the worlds of characters such as The Little Mermaid and Pinocchio, through the interpretation of 13 dance and singing numbers…//
“In my heart you will live”, “Under the sea”, “Hakuna matata” and “Colors in the wind” are some of the themes that will be part of the musical Homage to Disney, by the 24 young people with intellectual disabilities of the Artistic Company of the Special Club “Ayelem”.
The assembly will be presented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts (Sedeculta), on Wednesday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m., in the Concert Hall of the Palacio de la Música, located at Calle 59, number 497 between 58 and 60 of the Historical Center. Entrance will be free.
The show contains 13 numbers of dance and song, based on the most emblematic Disney films, such as The Lion King, Pinocchio and La Little Mermaid, to name a few. The production will be directed by Emilio Kantún and the choreographies by Carlos Palomo Lizama.
For the conduct of the event, the voice of the actor Josué Mena Pantoja will be provided, while the songs will be performed totally live by the adolescents of this civil association, informed its president, Nelly Cantón Méndez.
The audience will be able to enjoy the melodies “The blue star”, “My reflection”, “Dreams”, “What if we make a doll?”, “Part of it”, “Nights of Arabia”, “An ideal world”, “Believe and dare” and “Ready now!”, songs that will recreate the magical worlds of Disney.
The production will feature distinguished local artists, as well as a sign language interpreter, so that people with some auditory limitation can also be part of the tribute.
This production has been presented in Puebla, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Mexico City, where it has had great success and has contributed to the training of its participants.
