Closure of streets

In view of the programmed activities, it was informed, through a communiqué, that from 18:00 hours on Friday, some streets of the Historic Center will be closed to vehicular traffic and will reopen Sunday Sept. 16 at noon.

According to the schedule, the temporary closure will affect streets 60 and 62 from intersection with 65, as well as 61 and 63 between 58 and 64. The option instead of moving from south to north over 60 will be to approach until 65 and then to take 64 all the way until the north or to be incorporated to the 59 and to return to the 60.

From north to south, you can use the 62nd street until you turn into the 57th and then the 66th, which leads to the south of the Yucatecan capital; or, use the 58 to 65 and, later, take the 62 to that destination.

Motorists are advised to avoid Merida’s Centro due to the street closures this weekend, especially Sunday.
