Health authorities announced that a new canine and feline anti-rabies vaccination campaign is scheduled to take place on Saturday Sept. 22.

“We tentatively have the date on the 22nd, but it is a matter of coordinating because we can move it, they are events programmed by the Ministry of Health and can be reprogrammed according to the needs of each municipality,” they pointed out.

Officials vowed to agree with the new municipal authorities and determine a precise date for it, they said.

Diseases transmitted by vectors such as dengue, zyka and Chikungunya have been down this year, according to the comment of Dr. Sergio Armando Bates Angulo, director of the Center for Health and Expanded Services of Progreso.
