Merida English Library has announced a new Administrator, Adriana Medina, will start start full-time work Feb. 23.
Adriana brings experience and great energy to the library, MEL said in its announcement. Adriana is in training right now, and will officially take over after Susanna McKibben’s last day on Feb 23rd.
Adriana was born in Merida and raised in Miami, where she graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology. She is currently a non-resident doctoral student at Clark University with a research focus on violence against women.
Adriana also has worked in the tourism and hospitality field. She says she is a life-long lover of writing and literature who is excited to start a new life in her old hometown as part of the MEL family.
